The second round of the Microsoft for Start-ups Program of Cyprus is now officially launched, on the 15th of November 2022. Following the successful first cycle of the \u201cMicrosoft for Start-ups Program\u201d, where 10 Cypriot start-ups managed to build strong networks with key players of the start-up and entrepreneurial ecosystem of Cyprus, while also developing their start-up idea further through training and mentoring, the second cycle is now launched.<\/p>\n

The Program is aiming to help young start-up founders get familiar with basic business and ICT concepts through training, mentoring and utilisation of Microsoft tools, all provided for free to the selected participants. The Program is launched by the European University Cyprus<\/strong> in close collaboration with Microsoft<\/strong> and a number of leading Cypriot companies (Innovation Partners), with diversified expertise. The Innovation Partners supporting this programme are:<\/p>\n

BSM Cyprus, CNP Cyprus, CYTA, ExxonMobil, EY, Gnomi, GrantXpert, Hellenic Bank, IMH, Logicom, Microsoft, NetU and NewCyTech.<\/strong> Also, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) is a strong supporter of the program, as well as GVI Cyprus <\/strong>which is involved as a business development partner.<\/p>\n

All start-ups will be assigned mentors and they will have the opportunity to work closely with to further develop their business idea and introduce their new product and\/or service successfully into the market, once the program is completed.<\/p>\n

The Program is based on\u00a0training and mentoring sessions, all happening from\u00a0the 1st of February\u00a0until the 30th of April 2023,<\/strong> followed by a\u00a0Graduation Ceremony that will take place in May 2023. All activities will take place at the European University Cyprus.<\/p>\n

The Microsoft for Start-ups program is implemented by European University Cyprus in close cooperation with GrantXpert Consulting Ltd.<\/p>\n
