The general admission requirement for all undergraduate programs is the successful completion of the secondary education cycle. All applicants will need to submit the following documents to the Office of Admissions, in electronic form to admit@euc.ac.cy,<\/a> in order to be considered for admission to the university:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. A completed application form together with a non-refundable fee of \u20ac80. Applicants may also apply on line here<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Official copy of High School Leaving Certificate and grade marksheet in English<\/li>\n
  3. Proof of English language proficiency (if any)*<\/li>\n
  4. Passport sized photo<\/li>\n
  5. Copy of a valid passport minimum 2 years (for international applicants only)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \u00a0*Proof of English language<\/strong> proficiency<\/strong>: Knowledge of the English language is not a requirement for admission. At European University Cyprus, applicants whose native language is not English take the university\u2019s English Placement Test (EPT) upon arrival at the university to indicate their English level and be placed in appropriate courses. Applicants who have passed either the TOEFL examination with a minimum score of 79 (Internet-based), English IGCSE with grade \u2018C\u2019 or above, or IELTS (Academics) with a score of 6.5 or above are exempted from the EPT. Other external exams may be accepted by the Language Center of the University as equivalent. Please consult with the Office of Admissions for more details. Candidates, whose English proficiency is not up to the university\u2019s standard, have the opportunity to take additional English language classes according to their degree requirements. Candidates holding British nationality are exempt from English language requirements.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

    Payment of Fees<\/strong><\/h4>\n
    Upon receipt of an acceptance letter from the University, undergraduate students are required to submit a down payment of \u20ac1,100 for on-campus programs and \u20ac500 for the distance learning programs. The payment can be done online via\u00a0JCC<\/a>.<\/div>\n

    Transfer Students<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    Candidates, who have started their university education elsewhere or have successfully completed studies at an accredited university and wish to apply for admission to EUC, they may be exempted from courses that they will attend at the European University of Cyprus.
