The aim is to provide a rich transdisciplinary forum and masterclass for the scientific community to be inspired and engaged in the rapidly changing world of medical science.<\/p>\n<p>We are proud to announce our first speaker, <strong>Professor Jean-Marie Lehn, Nobel Laureate<\/strong>, Professor at the University of Strasbourg Institute for Advanced Study. \u00a0Professor Lehn will lecture on <strong><em>\u201cFrom supramolecular towards adaptive chemistry: Biomedical aspects\u201d,<\/em><\/strong> focusing on his work on the chemical basis of \u201cmolecular recognition\u201d (the way molecules recognize and selectively bind to substrates), which also plays a fundamental role in biological processes. It is for these ground-breaking studies that in 1987, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. In 2018, Professor Lehn offered a 3-day specialized workshop on <strong><em>\u201cSteps towards life: Chemistry\u201d,<\/em><\/strong> within the International Multi-thematic Bio-Medical Congress, organized by Professor Patrikios, annually.\u00a0 Professor Lehn was inaugurated as Honorary Professor of the European University Cyprus, School of Medicine on May 9, 2018.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/event.webinarjam.com\/register\/281\/q164pfv1\">Join us<\/a> for this inspiring lecture by one of the \u201cworld\u2019 great minds\u201d, who stresses<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>&#8220;The evolution of the universe has generated more and more complex forms of matter through self-organization, from particles up to living and thinking matter.
