Athanasiou, Executive Dean and Professor of Orthodontics of the Department of Dentistry, European University Cyprus was appointed on the 10<sup>th<\/sup> July 2020 by the Board of Trustees of the Hellenic Dental Association (HDA) President of the Scientific Affairs Institute.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Institute aims to study, facilitate and coordinate scientific affairs, protocols, international guidelines with regard to quality assurance<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong><strong>certification and accreditation of various forms of professional development of dentists including seminars, courses and congresses as well as scientific publications of the members of the HDA.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In the Board of the institute there is representation of the HDA, the two dental schools, the scientific dental associations and the Ministry of Health of Greece.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Athanasios E.
