{"id":15294,"date":"2019-07-24T14:43:46","date_gmt":"2019-07-24T12:43:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euc.ac.cy\/collaboration-of-cesmatse-with-the-atlas-events-monitoring-project\/"},"modified":"2019-07-24T14:43:46","modified_gmt":"2019-07-24T12:43:46","slug":"collaboration-of-cesmatse-with-the-atlas-events-monitoring-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euc.ac.cy\/en\/collaboration-of-cesmatse-with-the-atlas-events-monitoring-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Collaboration of CESMATSE with the ATLAS Events Monitoring Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"justify\">The <strong>Centre for Sustainable Management of Tourism Sport &amp; Events (CESMATSE)<\/strong> at the <strong>European University Cyprus<\/strong> being committed to advancement of knowledge and its application to the industry both on international and local levels, is pleased to announce its collaboration with the <strong>ATLAS Events Monitoring Project<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">&#160;<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The <strong>ATLAS Events Special Interest Group<\/strong> was established in 2010, with a broad remit to acts as a focus for events research and scholarship among ATLAS members. Discussions with members has identified a need to undertake comparative research to facilitate the identification of trends and developments in events internationally. At present many members are undertaking individual research projects, the findings of which are hard to compare across borders or over time.
