Stress has been a key to survival of our species; it has protected us from danger and threat throughout time. However, when we let stress become DISTRESS, if left unrecognized as such, it can overpower us and negatively affect both our personal and academic lives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Food for Thought<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Literally, what you eat can have a direct impact on how well your brain functions. The easy way is not always the best; consider it as if you are investing in your body (and your thought) capacity. One might say, \u201cA healthy meal is expensive, and I do not have the time to prepare it\u201d, but, if you think about it, there is always a healthy option available, it is there but we are ignoring <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pass4lead.com\/070-243.html\">070-243<\/a>it. But don\u2019t get me wrong! \u201cHealthy\u201d is relative\u2014we all have different nutritional and emotional needs that are met by our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.motorup.com.au\/\">buy windows 10 professional key<\/a> diet. However, if you just take a moment and think about your current diet, you should be able to tell which food is good for you and which food helps <a href=\"http:\/\/www.workhospitality.com.au\/\">workhospitality.com.au<\/a> to avoid additional stress on your body and mind.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exercise<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Being stuck in a lecture hall and the library all day can get extremely mundane and overwhelming. Break that boring pattern by incorporating some physical exercise in your daily routine. It does not have to be intensive, not everybody has the time to enrol and commit to a gym. It could be as simple as jogging\/cycling instead of driving to campus tomorrow morning. It could be using the stairs instead of the lift. Exercise and release those endorphins! It is like a positivity buzz that improves your mood!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Just Can\u2019t Get Enough\u2026 Sleep!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Being a student is associated with sleep deprivation, especially during exam periods! For most students, it is all about that solid (at least!) seven-hour sleep, a chance to \u2018shut off\u2019 and declutter all the information that flooded and overfilled their brains all day at lectures. However, that is not always the case as some days you just cannot get that sleep. A possible solution could be a twenty-minute nap, after all naps have been shown to improve productivity!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Have a Break.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When things start feeling overwhelming, just give yourself a break. It could be a ten-minute break or even a weekend spent somewhere <a href=\"http:\/\/www.workhospitality.com.au\/category\/windows-10-key-cheap\/\">windows 10 key cheap<\/a> quiet. Sometimes \u2018alone-time\u2019 is what we need; it could either mean that you shut out everybody in the library for a few minutes by listening to some relaxing music, or it could mean spending a day or two somewhere peaceful and quiet away from the hustle <a href=\"http:\/\/www.motorup.com.au\/\">http:\/\/www.motorup.com.au<\/a> and bustle of the campus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Positivity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat which does not kill us, makes us stronger.\u201d Yeah, I am cringing whilst typing this\u2026 But Nietzsche (or Kelly Clarkson) was right! Whatever may come your way you, are always stronger than it. Failures are part of the process. There\u2019s no point <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pass4lead.com\/700-802.html\">700-802<\/a>stressing over mistakes\u2014they are there to learn from them.
